2000 ford ranger temp gauge not working. So far I have strapped the wire from the coolant temperature sender to ground and turned the ignition switch to on. Both sensors are new and the connections are clean. I'm at abloss as to how to fix it. Clearly my engine was hot when I was driving, so that must've been wrong.
